BSL Employees Give Back

Homegrown care for our communities

As part of our mission, Bingaman & Son Lumber Inc has developed a community giving program for agencies helping individuals/families in our community or doing charitable work in those areas. This program has provided employees an opportunity to support the organization(s) of their choice through a weekly payroll deduction. Additionally, Bingaman & Son Lumber has matched these contributions to the selected organizations.

In 2015, Bingaman & Son Lumber Inc employees exceeded expectations by donating over $32,600 with the BSL match to organizations in their communities and those charities close to their heart.  The overwhelming giving by BSL employees will certainly touch many lives in the state of Pennsylvania.

The BSL family of companies gave to the following organizations:

  • Pine Creek Lumber supported “Mark the Shark” Toy Drive at Christmas, Walnut Street Christian School, Infant Development Program and Veterans Emergency Relief Fund.
  • St Marys Lumber chose to donate to Guardian Angels Center, Boys & Girls Club, Hidden Wounds, CAPSEA, LIFT, Christian Food Bank, Community Nurses, Elkland Search & Rescue and St. Jude’s Hospital.
  • Clarendon continues to contribute through the Warren County United supporting such organizations as A Safe Place, Caring for Life, Hospice of Warren County, Salvation Army and more.
  • Employees at Kreamer donated to Middlecreek Area Community Center, Haven Ministries, Wounded Warrior Project, American Red Cross, SUN COM Industries, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts, Women in Transition and St. Jude’s Hospital.
